Nicole & Marilee // Engagement Session Red Willow Park
Their Story!
Marilee & Nicole met three years ago and as they say, the rest is history. Having met through a lesbian dating site, they had only a few things in common on the surface. They kept talking via email for months and finally met. The meeting was eye opening for them and they knew that this was it!
These are Nicki’s words: “I met this beautiful woman on a lesbian dating website. On the surface, we had only a few things in common, but we emailed each other for two months before we met – turns out, she absolutely spoke to my heart. I never thought I would get married, let alone meet someone. Things in my life led me to believe that I was meant to be alone and that merely surviving in this world was the best it would ever get. But Marilee completely transformed my world, now we have a beautiful home, a dog, and a bright future ahead.”
They got engaged this year and wanted to do an engagement session to commemorate the beginning of their life together! We planned out a fall engagement session since the fall colors looked absolutely beautiful!
Apples, wooden baskets and a wonderful dog (Charlottee) made the shoot absolutely brilliant!

I photographed this wonderful couple at the Red Willow Park in St. Albert, Alberta. This was a fantastic location choice as it had trails that looked amazing at this time of the year, especially combined with the afternoon sunlight and shimmering river, it was absolutely wonderful!
I am very excited to photograph this couple’s wedding in 2019!
