Guys Getting Ready at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church
We first photographed the groom and the groomsmen as they got ready at the Western Alliance Church. They all looked extremely handsome in their tailored suits. They also played some board games before Justin’s single hood was over.
Girls Getting Ready
We photographed Mona getting ready with her bridesmaids. Mona looked beautiful in her custom wedding dress! She also had her pet birds congratulate her on her wedding day.
Ceremony at the Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church
Following the getting ready photos, we photographed the bride and groom during their beautiful ceremony. They included a very special segment (the Unity heart ceremony) which was a very cool take on the idea of unification of hearts.
Formal Photos at Devonian Botanic Gardens, Edmonton
This was one of the first weddings of this season where everything was either ahead of schedule or on time! This allowed us a lot of time for the couples bridal party photos and creative formals at the Devonian Botanic Gardens. We were able to create some amazing artwork for this couple there even though it was raining!
Reception at Double Tree By Hilton Hotel, Edmonton
Following the formal photos, we returned to the Double Tree By Hilton Hotel where the reception was being setup. We prepared the same day slideshow for the couple which can be found here: Wu Reception Slideshow. The reception decor was setup around the idea of books and nerdy weddings! It looked splendid especially due the fantastic job that the hotel staff had done.
I absolutely loved working with Mona & Justin. They are an amazing couple and had an amazing wedding party that were so much fun to work with!
We were so fortunate to be a part Mona & Justin’s wedding. It was an absolute honor to be a part of their day!
