NY city is like a dream city for photographers including me. Every corner has a story to tell and every street has colors that are different from the street next to it. Don’t even get me started on the sunlight in NY city, it is absolutely incredible and the photographer who live in the city have an unfair advantage in comparison to us mere mortals! During my stay in the city, I lived at a small art gallery in Brooklyn which also served as an Air BNB crash lounge! During my stay I got to meet some really cool individuals who made it possible for me to experience the city in a whole different light. One of these individuals shows up in these portraits in New York city!
Every morning, I would go to a cafe near my home called the Lula Bean (amazing sandwiches!) where I would get my fix of coffee and food. You can see some of the pictures from this cafe down here:
On one of these occasions, I ran into Coral – a free soul and a beautiful human! Me and several other people were sitting in the cafe when we started humming and dancing to the song playing (at the same time!). This is where our conversation started and when I informed you Coral that I was a photographer, she was all on board with the idea of taking photos in the city!
We planned this out and visited several places including China Town, streets of Brooklyn and mostly more china town! Here are some of the very cool photos we got to take together:
Bitten by the travel bug, my dream now is to photograph amazing humans on every corner of this wonderful earth!
